Happy Birthday


A couple of my frenzs
treated me for my bdae


Abt one week before my bdae,
Kian Leng treated me to
Jap steamboat ... the
setmeal was so
big but it was

nice so I ended up
finishing it ...


On the eve of my birthday, KK
& pals treated me to
dinner and drinks @ Iguana ...
Iguana is really a $$$ making
machine ... more profitable
than Brewerks ... the table
turnover rate at Iguana
is definitely faster


It has been ages since we
have our drinking sessions ...
so the feeling is really good
becuz at one time our
group was experiencing
some trouble


University friend, Dick treated
me to Jap food on Wed. I was
a bit embarassed becuz
it's the first time in
years since I forgotten
his birthday


Anyway ever since I realised
I have neglected some of my
closer frenzs, I have
progressively shaved down
on the times that I spent
with acquaintances


I thot that I better get
my priorities right and looking
from a year back I'm happy
with the way things have
been shaping up

I have been busy at work
for the past couples of week


I was wrapping up a substantial part
of my thesis while
starting on another section


Actually I'm quite relieved to have
finally started on the next
section.


It's like when you have to start
from scratch ... the feeling can
be quite lousy ....


Everyday you know you have to
start, but you procrsatinate a
bit


So I'm glad to have started becuz I
feel like I'm pass
the middle of my project


The two years of postgraduate
was difficult ... there were
a lot of uncertainities ...
still, I have no regrets becuz
I like the proj I'm doing


But I have been struggling for
a while, becuz everything
is so new to me ...


Contrary to what most pple think
of me, I take quite a while
to adapt to sth new


I like changes but I'm slow
to adapt


Now I can safely say, I have adapted ... v long huh

MISIA concert was on Sep 13 at the Expo.


Kianleng asked me whether I was keen
to go and I agreed immediately


The stage and spotlights were magnificient
& MISIA's energy was infectious ...


It was like what the concert was titled
"Discotheque Asia" ... attending
the concert feels like stepping
into a disco ... & the
fans were up to it


Overall, I gave the concert the thumb up.
The fans were more participating;
everyone was having fun, tt's 
wat a concert shld be like

Elva Hsiao was on FM 93.3 Top 20
 Countdown show the other day ... 


I love to hear singers talk about
their opinions about things, their
songs and their vision of life. Some 
singers have more passion than
others and some r v cerebral


Hearing Elva on air, I think
she is very good with her words.
Her words were concise and piece
together beautifully as though
they have been rehearsed


I din quite remember the 
whole "interview" but it 
was v interesting to 
hear the diva speaks; her 
concert is next year, it should
be another dance party!
