the moments of romance, love, simplicity
and purity in "Bungee Jumping of their own"

the optimistic, cheerful soul in "Lovers'Concerto"

& the innocent, hopeful but naive Soo-Jung in
"Virgin Stripped Bared by her Bachelors"

those were virtuoso performances tt I will nvr ever forget
... even more now

I was always looking forward to Eun Joo's
new films/movies ... it was sth special ... ever
since "Bungee" ... I was convinced/captivated
by the actress performance

if there was this thing called the MAGIC OF
THE MODERN CINEMA ... it was evident ...
very evident ... in some of her best works

& Eun-Joo never disappoint ... if she had her chance

but I donno whether she was trying too hard ... trying
not to miss any opportunites ... after "Bungee"
there wasn't a suitable enuff movie tt cld showcase her talent

it's a shame really ...

but still those moments of her earli movies will
continue to live inside me

I was alwae wondering about the umpteen times
she played the tragic roles ... abt how the protagonist
she acted always has a short life

at the tender age of 24 ... she left mankind ...
I hope she will find everlasting peace at last

she was as gud as some of the veteran actress in Korean
cinema ... and I hope she will be remembered for those
moments she had delivered to us

After CNY ...

CNY was fun ... plenty of fun ... so much so
tt i din realli update much in my blog

New Year Eve ... was spent with my family,
went 2 temples ... supper at Changi ... n by
the time we made our way back ... it was
5 am i tink

woke up at 10am ... when CK called me to
wish me New Year ... YS wanted to invite
us to his place to have dinner

Dinner at YS's place was excellent ... plenty
of gd stuff ... home-made food are definitely
the bez

watched movie at GV's marina ... the place
was crowded ... but the movie was gud

Finding Neverland ... was nvr quite the
movie i anticipated ... i thot it will b juz
a boring old English movie ... but it surpassed
my expectation

It's surprisingly touching, heart-warming n
excellent directing

SMRT doesn't operate late till the nite so I caught
a cab home with my buddies

Day 2 was a bz day ... I actualli felt asleep
at the theatre ... I was juz too tired

but the animation which I caught was nice

BBQ at my plc after tt ... invitied juz a few pals ...
becuz I don wan my frenzs to be feel leftup ...
since my cousins will b there

n I'm usually quite bz talking to my cousins
becuz it alwae helluva fun when they
come to my plc on Day 2

Pingting n Jayce were there too ... my mum
enjoyed talkin to them

mum was even finding one of my guy frenz
a potential partner for my cousin ... omg

CNY juz came n disappeared juz lidat ...
i have to return to lab on Day 3 ... n no one
was ard ... but Day 3 was realli lucky for me

my lab work was so successful ... hopefully i will
be out of the woods v soon

Day 4 was at CK's plc for steamboat ... i tink
everyone stomach was bloated by the end
of the STEAMBOAT session

but my Prof told me he will give me some tips ...
he has guided me ... n nurtured me carefully ... I
have never met a Prof that commands so much
respect from me

Monday was V's Day ... it's nice to see pple giving
roses ... ladies holding roses

made me wonder y pple do it oni on V's Day

Do we need a Day to teach us to be romantic??
Do we need a Day to show our partner the love
we have for them ???

V's day was difficult when
pple asked me wat r u planning for ur gf???
who r u asking for dinner???

n when the answer is no for both ... i donno
y pple doubted me

isn't it ok to be single ???

aniwae these days i seemed to be able to doze
off at lectures easily ... I think i have lost
the mental concentration to listen to lecture

I nvr realli liked lectures... they suck my energy
away ... I don quite like pple who taught me stuff
which I can learnt myself

I'm quite independent ... u noe ... I tink I'm more
rebellious den independent ... in the army I will
just rebuffed my superior if I don like what she
demanded ... I ignored Captain who tried to play
power with me

But I was lucky becuz everytime there will be
someone higher up who will help me

sometime I wonder y pple help me ... but I'm
grateful tt they did

I owe my life to a lot of pple ... n my life will be
less brilliant, less wonderful without den

all rite ... have lost my congruency ... will end rite
now !!!! everyone has a wonderful weekend ...
enjoyed the sunny weekend ... hit the beach

HAPPY CNY

to all my frenzs ... happy CNY ... hope the year all the cock
will be fufilling ... happening ... n be filled with
luck ... I believed luck is impt ... for the effort
you put in ... to improve morale ... so may everyone
have luck

the past week has been bz ... with poster presentation
... my expt. is filled with loopholes ... but there is
nothing I can do about it ... because it's a short
project ... n no matter how much I believe ...
the task at hand is always gg to be big

but I'm glad it's over ... February is massive now ...
if i can make some discoveries ... have some results
... things will be great ... n I'm sure that the year
of the rooster will b luck ... plenty of it

doing New Year shopping in ORchard ... haven been
buying much clothes of late ... Dec was spent
in the lab ... not at the mall

so shopping was fun ... especially after a long break
away from it ... I decided to go back to the warm,
bright cheerful colours that I used to buy

so it's back to the red and yellow ... the colours
that always suit me

I have bought a pink tee as well ... kinda looks
nice ... it's realli my first pink tee... I like pink a lot
it MUZ b one of my five favourite colours

tis has been the third time since I tried to finish
tis blog =( ... wondering wat happened to blogspot

aniwae ... paiseh Eugene ... couldn't find a time to
shop together ... it has been a bz day at the lab

"Shall with Dance" is quite a movie

Entertaining, fun, hilarious ... n J.Lo is gorgeous
as usual in the movie

but her acting may nt be up there with the bez

but it doesn't matter ... Shall With Dance is more
abt the lighter moments ... abt Richard Gere

tis might b my first movie in 2005 ... unbelievable
but it's a gud one for a start

was talking to KianLeng ... after the movie ... he
worked in the Racing dept. of SPH

I love horses ... ever since I started watching tis
HK serial abt horses year old

but i felt tt like bullfighting ... horse-racing shd be
stopped

it juz outdated ... n it's cruel

but i was on the contray quite captivated by
bullfighting ... the matador always inspired me

n do take the credits away from then ... being a
matador is a tough job ... it's realli dangerous
one wrong move ... u get injured ... juz one wrong
move ... juz a lapse of concentration ... u get
punished

it's a profession ... tt demands perfection in
every step ... every process ... tt y bullfighting
still exists ... though it's inhumane

am i any better ... killing mice ??? i don realli
tink much abt it

when I started with my expt. but watching
them struggle for breath ... reminds me
abt the agony of death ... i cld only say
rest in peace

At peace hopefully they will be

... anyway enuff of the melo ... it's CNY ...
enjoy the goodies yah .... have plenty of
fun ... it's a great time to RECHARGE
