So much since the last post


I haven't been writing much but April
has been an eventful month


The "highlight" of April has to be
my long illness ... first it was flu at the beginning
of April, I refused to see a doc in the beginning


when i finally went to the doc ...
my nose was in a BAD shape


THE worst thing was the headache after the flu,
in total, I saw the docs four times for
the headache ...


I never have serious headache condition ...
not before & I don think
it was tension headache ... but other
than tension headache the docs din
know why

my headache was finally over after
5th May


Flu, headache really really hurts
my pocket ... now, I feel
really HEALTHY ... things look
good now

exam is finally over ... phew ...
still got 2 more modules to go
before I apply for my PQE


heard tt there is an
allowance rise for
postgraduate student, nt sure
whether it applies to me
though ... but the $500 rise
is substantial


if I pass my exam, I can BURN
my notes away ... tt's my way
of exercising my vengeance ...
all thru the YEARS, I DON
UNDERSTAND why they MAKE
US STUDY CELL BIOLOGY EVERY YEAR


Clearly, I am sick of it. I always can't
get Prof Clement's question correct
after so many exams ... this time round,
BINGO!!!


most of my frenzs are graduating this
year ... Justin, Stella, Yihao, Guobao so
there will be less pple around
for lunch


when I first started my postgrad ... it
was difficult because suddenly I din
have too much frenzs ard me ...
it was a strange feeling


but then I met Phoenix during tt
maiden year ... when Phoenix left
for Australia I was gutted ...


I'm glad tt my understanding of her
has been on a steady ascent


When she returns, I hope to spend
time with her so I have been
working v hard this year
to set the foundations strong
for my project

I only watched one film for this year film
festival ... besides 2004, this was the
lowest number of films I ever
caught in a film fest


Is there an erosion of interest? I have
too busy tt I'm not so excited
abt catching a film


It's hard to enjoy things when
u are mentally drain...


I haven decide what I'm going to do
with my Korean webpage ...

it takes 3 years for my page to be listed
in google first page for the subject.
I also don understand why I couldn't
find the energy to continue anymore


I must admit it's hard to
do it alone ... so the webpage
will most probably close after this year

On the 28th, I went to the zoo with
Jiajian, Pingting, Jayce, Dengli & Vivian...


the last time i went to zoo was like
more than 10 years ago ... most prob
was in sec sch or pri sch

it's not cheap without the corporate
card


it was quite fun though I was having
a terrible headache ... I kept
"irritating" them by referring
to an animal call the
girbra ... guess wat tt haha


the afternoon went by v quickly ...
I was still wondering how we
are gg to past the afternoon


Pingting wanted to see the polar
bears before the younger one
is sent over when his mother
departs


She does know a lot abt polar
bears ... impressive!!!


My obssession is with giraffe ...
maybe I like things that
are tall ..

& the racoons are cute ...
so bloody cute ... but they
do look real mischievious


after the zoo, we went for dinner
den a drink ... I left just before midnight
cuz my head was really acheing

On May 1, I met up with Yuansong, Sinwah,
Danny & Melvin


It has been a while since we went for
karaoke, the last time I sent was more than
6 mths ago...


It's alwyas fun gg karaoke with them


Yuansong knows exactly how to make use of his
diaphragm ... the rest of us can't compete with him
even when we used the mike


Melvin is always a joker, but as
usual always busy with his phone during the
karaoke


& on Labour day, I went for a swim even
though I felt a bit nauseus ... I am NEVER
gg to be WEAK again ... I have never look
back since


I have also been running & I'm glad
tt my old injury din return
after running @ a higher
speed for 6-10 laps


I don't like to be OVERTAKEN so
it's important for me to
improve my speed


Honestly, I have a competitive
streak, I DON"T LIKE TO BE OVERTAKEN ...
I HATE IT BIG TIME!!!


Anyway now the weather is good, I'm going
to start my bladeing preferably
next week ... my blades
has been collecting dust ... so
time to let it ENJOY the sun!!!

I took my powerboat theory on 7th May & FAILED
again... this time I was 2 pts off the passing marks


The passing rate was 10% ... can you believe it??


Outside the exam centre, there were lotsa
disappointing place... like me, there were
2 guys who failed it the second time round


One guy got the same marks as me the first
& second time round


The PPCDL test is possibly one of
the most DIFFICULT test
I have taken...


The test is so tricky & it's designed
to make u choose the wrong
answer


My last test will be end of this month...
I really gonna pass it this time round


Then there is my second driving test ...
tt will be on the 5th of June ... now I'm
like v lukewarm in my attitude ...
cuz I really spent a lot of $$$ in it
already
