This is 大嘴巴second album ...
haven got to listen to
the whole album but
专辑主打国王皇后 is
v good!!!

still think they are one
of the more creative pop
group around

国王皇后 is like
the type of song I will always
like ... it has got good rhythm; the dJ
did a great job

still, I reckon tt 大嘴巴's music
is not v mainstream ... I
sent the song to KK
& as expected
he said the song was v
off

On Sat, I went karaoke
with a couple of frenzs...
my frenz said songbird Alan
is joining us

I think Alan had got to
be the guy who sung
the best with pple
I been karaoke to ... & he
said tt 90% of the songs
are emo ... & Vivien
remarked tt next time
I will run out of songs
to sing given that Alan
like to sing wu ke qun
& Eason's song ... both are
my fav

it has been a long time
since we last met up
& sing ... so I thot
it was pretty gd!!!

KK also just returned frm
London so we sang
the duet, qiang mei gui, Vivian
said it's a sadist song ...
checked up the lyrics
n mabbe u will know
what she means

A few days after Jan 1, 2009, I skated
with Junwei from Queenstown
all the way to Bugis

Enroute, we skated on the F1 track...
the F1 track surface is indeed
diff, gd for car ... but nt
so gd for bladers ...

I think the route from Queenstown --> Bugis
is pretty blader-friendly ... & reaching
Singapore River on the early
Saturday afternoon
is quite a
pleasant experience

Urban skateing is fun but can
be a bit embarassing when
u struggle at the traffic
junction ... muz improve
on tt!!!

December came n went ...
there were lotsa of gathering
so I din rest too much ...
but it's nice to meet
up with frenzs tt I haven
been for quite a while

also watched a couple of
movies ... din have
much to criticise ...
but in particular, I enjoy
YesMan

"Marley & Me" will only
be out in Feb 2008 ... heard
tt they "cast" a lot of
dogs in the movies ..
I'm quite looking forward
to the movie ... nt
sure whether it's
slated for Valentine Day

I dread the end of December though,
as it's time to work hard yet
again ... but 2008 has been
great!!!

Stand Chart Marathon 2008

this year marathon has more
participants than last year

unlike last year, I din
train much for the 21 km
run

partly I was nursing a injury ...
but I was also keen
to test whether
I can still keep within
the same time as last
year without
trg

so it was an experimental
run ...

the best part is to bump
into a couple of frenzs
during & after the
run

I started rather late
becuz I was waiting
for Wenfu & I just
couldn't seem to find him

I have quite painful muscle
cramp the night after the
marathon but
surprisingly it heals within
a day

So the experiment was a success

Nxt year, I gonna run
the 4 X 10 km run ... running
is quite an individualist sport
& a lot of pple are obessed
abt the timing ... I'm
more obessed abt
having fun ... the camaraderie
tt a team event nurtured
is more meaningful to me

December is cool cuz I really
got to relax & I don
really have to
work ultra-hard

the weather so far has been
excellent ... there is both
good & bad weather
in a single day

my frenzs were late for
dinner last Friday so
I wandered ard frm
Paragon to HMV

there was this choc booth
at HMV & the lady
was asking me
to sample the choc ...

the first mouthful
was a surprise ... it was
v good !!! like I was

transported back to Brugges

she told me ... the shop
was a JV between her
boss and a belgian
chef ...

I think it's v good ... so
I bought
250 gm

Nowadays, I don get so
excited abt food ...
but on days whereby
my tastebuds sense
sth unique ... I
still get as excited ... though
such days are rare

Enjoying chocolate is a sensual
experience worth
living for

but it turns up to be exactly so

on one of the Sat, Junwei brought
me and Vivian to urban skate ...
urban skate is v fun, but
it's v difficult especially
the stretch from ECP to Bedok

den at the traffic junction, it's
always tricky because
all the small holes juz
at the edge of the pavement ...

I have been away for bladeing
for so long, but I guess
I still have passion for it ...
it's still v fun ... becuz there's
always sth new to learn ... sth
to improve

I'm v grateful though tt
Junwei is there to teach me ...
if not for his passion, i think
I will still be there
not picking up the sport

I think I will continue bladeing
for a long time

met up with uni pals, Leo & Vivien,
a few days prior to Christmas.

Incredibly, we haven met for at least a year.

Still, it's like there still
a lot of laughter, a lot
of fun, like we were still
schooling.

The evening just passed away v
quickly ... guess we should
meet up more often

abt the Christmas deco this yr
& she said tt the atmosphere
somehow is dampened by
the economic crisis

I think this year Christmas deco is
good ... it's v simple but
I think it's beautiful enuff

This year I din spend Christmas Eve
with the usual gp ... but
for the past 4 years
it has been fun

As for me, I'm surprised to receive
Christmas presents this year!!!

Overall Dec is good ... it doesnt

A good year for 吴克群

I think this year 吴克群 has
written and sung some
rather good songs ...

it's just a pity tt he is still so
under-rated but good
to know that "为你写诗" was
top I think for two weeks
in the Singapore chart

I think I share his vision
of love in some of his
songs

Love has tt ability to excite
you and suffocate you

but when it stops
the vacuum that it
leaves behind is so painfully
felt; I guess tt what

me with after watching the MTV
