The Ox has Arrived !!!

Not the dragon. I am referring to Arsenal
young footballer Alex Oxlade
Chamberlein, AOC. I hope
I got his name correct.


AOC was bought during the transfer window
of 2011. But Arsenal interest in the player
dated back to 2010.

The frustrating thing about Arsenal is that
they take forever to sign a player.

A large part of the fun in supporting a club
is the anticipation of new player joining
the club & just fantasizing about the
prospect if the player is deemed
like a good buy.

AOC has the speed that will send fear
down the spine of defenders. He has
flair, composure, good ball control
and excellent finishing. So, AOC
has the necessary ingredients
to be very successful.

For an 18 yr old, his composure
is awesome. Ever since 2005,
Arsenal hasn't been in a strong
position to win a trophy.

Still, when you look at how some players
blossom over the years, it is a very
satisfying feeling. Trophy is
really not everything.

The real joy of been a fans is to support
the team through thick and thin. If
you a fair weather fan, why even
bother?

The past weeks have seen Arsenal grind
out some really awesome results!

Arsenal - Tottenham: 5-2;
Arsenal - Liverpool: 2-1;
Arsenal - AC milan: 3-0

With results like this, there is no reason
not to be excited about it.

Of cuz, the minus side of thing is that Arsenal
is already out of all competition, they only
have either 3th or 4th position to
fight for, which is still pretty
impressive considering
tt the first month of
the league the team
was on the other
side of the
table.

I have always admired Wenger greatly and
even after 7 years of barren season,
my support and admiration is
the same.

Wenger have given everything to the club.
He is not perfect, but, still, how can you
fault someone who sacrifices so
much for the club.

Time really flies, next week will be the second
last hip-hop lessons my frenzs and I have
with Celine Jessandra.

The 8 lessons have been really an eye-opener.
I guess I enjoyed them tremendously.

Unfortunately, all good things have to come to
an end, somehow.

My frenzs have chosen to start lesson with another
dance school. It is rather sad because I enjoy
those sessions with Evy. Dancers are
dancers and their passion for it
have really inspired me.

Evy is really very patient and encouraging. Although,
she is easy-going, she is very serious when
it comes to dancing, tt what I feel.

I am a slow learner, so although I have worked
hard, I am still quite far away from the
finished article.

The next 2 months, I will be off from dancing, then
I will probably join the group back in May or
June.

Bump into Malcolm on Suntec. I was pretty much
engrossed and when he patted me on the
back, I gave a rather surprising
reaction.

It was pretty funny, he said :" Sorry, I forget your
name already. Let me think, I was just
checking Facebook yst."

Me: "I also forgotten, but I know you have
an English name."

Malcolm: "Let's go check facebook."

Anyway, we mentioned that we need to
club again soon. Clubbing with him
is not bad. This year, I haven't
club yet, moreso becuz my
cough, sore-throat doesn't
seem to stop. It doesn't
make a lot of sense
to drink when
you are sick.

Went with Edwin to the IT show
& I ended up with two portable
hard disk. Both are not
mine. This year the
crowd was clearly
missing.

But quite fun to go IT show. Selen
asked me to get the same
portable hard disk if
I am entitled to
discount for 2.

I replied her "You think IT show
is like Life Tech ah, buy 2 got
more discount. haha. Anyway,
I was right, the salesperson
just smiled me and
said, don't have"

After that was dinner was at Sushi
Tei. I think the Friday evening
was quite good.

Anyway, Edwin just passed me
our Shanghai picture, so I will
be able to upload it pretty
soon.

Time really flies & it's March already.
After postgrad, I really feel I need
to get my life back!

& my life will be better because I am
no longer tied to a "long term
project". I am try up
something, perserve
for a while & give
up if it's not
worth it.

That is why I told my frenz that my current
job is not really that stressful. Of course,
you get scolded and sometimes
customers can try to difficult.

But seriously, that don't really kill. At the
end of the day, I just knock off &
forget about it. For me, since
this is not a long-term proj,
the stress is like, gone.

The bad part is that this job is really
very busy. So, my personal time
is very much reduced, which
is a big thing to me. But
most job, nowadays is
like this, save tuition.

I do have some very nice colleagues. Selen is very
friendly and she passed me food that she can't
finish when we have lunch. Tt is much
appreciated because for donno what
ever reason, my stomach is like
always hungry these few weeks.

My neighbour, Elizabeth, is a pleasant personality,
though, she might find my jokes a bit lame.
Anyway, it's quite good to finally have
a neighbour, who I can really chat
with when I am sick of the
paperwork.

I am the type B personality, so I prefer
to take things a bit easy & figure out
how my next few years is going
to be like. I'm sure it will turn
out to be fun & exciting.
