This will be a fast one. I need to get
into bed early today. I think I have
overworked my engine for the
past 13 days.

Anyway, the turn of the year just
happened too fast.

This yr for the gift exchange, Huiling's
gift was voted top! Minghui got the
votes for the worst gift.

I got one vote for best gift, which is
pretty good. I guess Alex is my
lucky star, we were walking ard
in ion with no target in mind
& he just disappeared into
a shop. I went in and
fished up my gift, all
in the space of half
an hour.

Thank you Alex! Nxt year gift
exchange's format will be
different but it sounds
quite interesting.

On New Year's Eve, we went to
Donna Carmela for dinner. It
is a very fine Italian restaurant.

This is mine third time there. I
was surprised I was the last
to reach & I was only 7
minutes late.

I started work on 3 Jan 2012.
It was and still is a pretty weird
feeling for me, kinda ambivalent.

Although, I am really delighted
to get a job, I really do miss
the freedom I have last
year. Freedom is like
happiness to me, u
can't have enough
of it.

Last year was weird, cuz although
I do not have to go to school
frequently, it feels like
it wasn't really a
vacation.

So it's not really true when a lot
of my frenzs said I have slacked
enough. A lot of the time I was
editing manuscript, preparing
presentation, tuition and
going for therapy. You
don't define tt as
a break right?

On 3 Jan, my group of friends finally
started our hip hop course at the
dance school in Novena.

It in really fun, but hip hop is
really hard. I think the best
analogy is like when u first
started learning how to
drive a manual car.

The car always stalled! The braking
is not smooth. And basically, it
is just difficult for the brain
to coordinate the legs
and arms.
