Time really flies


2009 is like 1/3 over ... & it's
like it's won't be too long
before I need to hand
in my thesis ... slightly more
than a year to be exact


the first 1-2 year of postgrad
was quite painful ... cuz a lot
of my frenzs were no longer
studying ...

den postgrad was very
different from studying ...
a lot of things can
screw up ... & u
just have to accept it


so counting the years ...
I think a lot have happened ...
no regret taking
postgrad becuz there a lot
of thing tt I've learnt which
can't possibly taught ... like
how to handle the unknown ...


When Phoenix left for Australia,
I seriously felt quite gutted ...
but I am by nature optimistic,
so I learn to live with tt


I hope to finish a substantial
part of my project n
den move on


Moving out of NUS will be a dream ...
after being at a place
for so long, no matter
how blissful the place is, there is
always a desire to see
what else life has to offer

In July, I will be off to Hokkaido
with mum and Kian Leng ...


Hokkaido should be beautiful
at tt time of the year


I havent plan much though ...
actually the more I live
life, the more I realise
I'm not so much of a
planner


Sometimes, I don quite
have a plan, but I always
have a vision & I think
vision and belief is as
important as having
a plan


den at the end of the year,
I might be gg Hongkong
with KK & pals ...
I luv Hongkong a lot ...
the delicious Dim Sum &
the ultra vibrant street ...


KK wanna try the bungee-jump
in Macau & I know he has given
up persuading me ...


It will be a lot of fun, but I don
even want to think abt it ...
cuz I'm only half-way thru my
PhD project & I need
to graduate next year


Now, I have so much drive
tt I find it hard to believe ...
maybe desperation can really
drive a person!!! haha

The day after Good Friday ...
I brought Vivian, KK, DL & Maggie
to the karaoke at Bugis


KK & I have always wanted to
sing "圣诞节" so I recommend
the place since KBox and
Party World doesn't seem
to have the song


there is a song I wanted to try out ,
an old song by 林俊杰 ...
the English title should be sth
like "Shakespeare's Talent" ...
but somehow the feel just
wasn't there tt night


I think they were kinda disappointed
abt the place & den all the
comments started ... haha ... but
I don felt a thing
abt their remarks


Karaoke is fun but I think
clubbing is one level up ...
but somehow a lot
of frenzs prefer pubbing
to clubbing


Former colleage, Christabel,
was flying off to Canada, so
we met for dinner &
thereafter we went
to New Asia Bar ... pretty
nice place but the
drink is quite ex ... but
the ambience make up
for it ...


The view from the 71 storey
is good, u can see a lot
of Singapore
