A few days ago, Arsenal's superstar,
Andrey Arshavin made a comment
& pple made a meal out of it... It
goes like this "Playing for Barcelona
will be the pinnacle of my career"



I like that statement because I love
the word pinnacle.


He has since came out n say
tt it was mis-translated &
he never said anything
like tt


Being honest is really not a bad
thing, so I don condemn
Arshavin for it ... even
if he said he was
mistranslated, I bet
he might really hope
to play for barcelona one day,
after all who don't want
to play for Barcelona right now?


The problem is really not his honesty
but the PROBLEM
that results from his honesty.
Let say your girl told u that
being with a certain guy
will be like the pinnacle
of her love life


U probably might think that
she is not totally wrong ...
but den there are two
problems (1) the guy
might not really fancy her &
tt is why she is stuck with
u & (2) how the else
are u gg to response
to her statement?


If u say "Well, you are probably right" ...
den she would think tt u have
an esteem issue but if u argue
with her den it's pretty silly
because it is really juz a
harmless comment &
to make an issue
out of it makes one v SMALL


Tt I think it's the whole problem ...
I think tt nothing wrong with making
the statement but how
the hell is the club gg
to response with such
a statement ... HOW???


But act like this is v thought-provoking ...
v interesting n definitely more
interesting than a typical
gud guy remarks ... except it's
a bit problematic ...

Starhub-Singtel finally lands the bid
for the World Cup. Honestly, we
could have played hard ball
with them & juz not
agree to their
exorbitant asking price ...


All this started because Starhub &
Singtel bid ridiculously for
the EPL boardcasting right ...
as fans honestly in the first
place, we should really
not subscribe to Starhub
expensive soccer package ... tt
will teach them a great lesson not to
bid ridiculously!!! v irresponsible !!!


When I signed up for my
scholarship in 2006, I thought
tt by the World Cup 2010 I will
already have written up
much of my thesis &
enjoying the June's warmth ...
tt mental image was v vivid ...


Of cuz the mental image need
revising NOW!!! I think I will
be slogging v hard, but my
aim is still to complete my thesis
by August ... a very tall
order, but will try!

was at a travel fair last Sat with Kian Leng...

wrong ... I think traveling
deliver the same quality of joy
I have from occasional clubbing ...
but clubbing is much, much
cheaper (i mean if u compare it to
traveling)... techno & dance
music are really my thing ...

will have to be Da Mouth. As
a group, they have evolved a lot.
Their recent MTVs are solid stuff ...
v creative, v entertaining

outdoor concert is actually not

Sat was spent not doing work
for the first time in mths ...


the feeling was great !!


KK organised the first badminton
session for the year ... my
racket has been sitting
in his boot for a long, long

time ...


Huiling offered me a ride
to Sengkang for the badminton
if I can give her
direction on how to reach there ...


I luv the feeling of giving
direction on the road ...
really reminds me
of those days during NS
... I hardly know
the road at tt age, so
it was a bit stressful in the
beginning giving directions
to the driver who can overspeed
& get me into trouble


Playing badminton after so long
is a pleasant feeling ... I'm the
restless type so the most
torturing things is really
to be at my desk
writing a paper
or thesis


In the evening, we were all
down at St James celebrating
Eric's birthday


It is the first time I went to a disco
pub with so many pple ... I think
there were 20 of us ... but I don't
know a couple of his frenzs present ...


We talked a bit ... den afterwards it
was really juz alcohol & dancing ...


Clubbing is fun but rather
expensive to do it every week. I think
if I do it weekly I might
even begin to detest it
