Things are progressing

Things r progressing tis week !!! finally
got a reply from the Swedish Uni

but it's not a confirmation ... they
just advised me to look
for a prof for that uni
... n if the prof
accepts me ... den
I will be admitted into
the sch

after sending out 3 different emails ...
to 3 different persons...
I got a reply!!!

now I'm trying to come out
with my research plans ... so tt I
can convince the prof to accept me
... researching in HIV is
a big ting for me ...
it's realli the oni reason
y I chose to study biology

childhood dreams are v far
away ... but they inspire me
to go this far

I nvr forget all my dreams ... some of
them quite naive ... some of
them not quite possible ...
but what fun is it doing
things that is sure to succeed

I'm a bit of a tough nut ... I nvr
like tings served nicely
for me ... I always love
to fight for the things I wan

n becuz of my insistence
on doing the tings I luv ...
I have earned the warth
of a lot of pple for my apparent
pickiness in looking for a job ...

I'm not picky at all !!! tt is all I
wan to say

in these 2 weeks I'm gg to work
on my research plan ... den
I will keep my fingers crossed

me n my mum are quite opposite characters
... so she has not been happy for me
not appearing too desperate
in getting a job

I believe my purple patch will come ... meanwhile
I will make full use of my time

frenzs have asked me to go on trips
... juz wanna say paiseh to Jayce
for nt being able to go
to Bintan tis time ard ... (v sorrie yah ...
tis is the how many times I miss
ur getaways!!!)

but I have declined other trips juz to be fair
!!! (actualli a combination
of a lot of factors)

Saturday was quite a weekend ...
have two tuitions when b4 I have none
... met a Sec sch frenz after
my tuition

the first ting my frenz commented on
was my hair ...

I'm wasn't one to be conventional
... becuz pleasing other
pple is not my cup of tea ...
if I like/respect someone ... they will
know it

If I tink u r shit ... u will know as well
... there were a few times I get into
some troubles becuz of tt ...
but I nvr tink there any
pt of hiding my disgust

promised to help him with his SAT ...
there were 2 mothers at the SAT book
sections at Kino so they
asked me wat books they
can get for their children

SAT is an American style exam ... v
fast tempo just like their way of
like ... but there always techniques
to excel in exam

my frenz wasn't in a gud mood so
I was happy to be a
gud listening
ear

we dine @ California Pizza Kitchen, but
the plc is a far cry that it
once was ... the pizza was realli
pathetic ... the first time
I was there with
my cousins... we all liked
the plc n the pizza

I remembered sth he said n I wished

some my sec sch frenzs joined us
after ... but I rushed
home @ 12:40am becuz
I wanted to
catch the last bus

Sunday passed v fast ... I was too
nua to go up n meet up
Cheehong n pals after dinner ...
cuz CK was cmg to
my house to watch
the Chelsea match

I haven't shop for a long time ( I DO Miss
GG shopping with Dick, but we
haven't done tt in a while)... but
once my future has been
sorted out ... it realli
time to celebrate

how soon will it be?? In abt two mths
I hope ... but in the
meanwhile I realli
have to cope with a change in my
lifestyle

journals, journals n journals ... tis yr
I have read like more than
50 journals ... it's like
retribution for 4
yrs of slacking

Thursday was my free day ... so I went
to the theatre to watch "Sympathy
For Lady Vengeance" with pals
BH, SY & KL,a few other
frenzs oso expressed interest
but the movie schedule
made it hard for
me to call pple

"Sympathy For Lady Vengeance" is a
movie I recommend ... it
manipulates ur mind a bit, u
might find yourselves laughing pathetically...
n it technically v v brilliant

no other director will make a better
trilogy than Director Park ... n
I mean every word of it

there were a lot of ladies in their 30s
watching the show ... i tink
it might be because of Lee Young-ae who
acted in 'Jewel In The Palace'

don ask me abt Korean drama serials
... I know nuts abt them ...

but I don have time a lot of
interest ... when I luv doing sth ...
it dominates my life

after the show, it was raining while
we were in the middle of our meal
... I luv gg home when it
raining at nite

the rain always made me feel
a bit poignant, on tt particular nite
I wanted to listen to
songs of FINKL, it a
pity tt the Korean group
has split ... quite a pity

anyone else liked FINKL?? I have
gone back to listen to Chinese
pop these few mths ...
the last time I did that was
during my primary sch days

n tks to GB I knew where to DL
Chinese pops n lyrics ... Tks!!!
