Three ways of making $$$
I was on my way to tuition then
I thought of how I have been
earning $$$ recently
(1): Research allowance: Ever since
I returned from my trip, there are several
good news & 1 bad new (more on
the bad new next time). Though the
bad new is rather drastic, the good new
is I got a 33% increase in my allowance.
(2) Tuition: Relatively, this is more relaxing
compare to the other two. I have been
giving tuition for like 9 years. Time really
flies. Thinking about those time feels
me with a great dose of satisfaction.
I think I could still remember a few of their names:
Shawn, Marcus, Jackson, Weijie, Zhaoyi,
Jonathan, Perlyn.
My previous boss at the centre really
supported me all the way. His faith
in me has always touches my heart.
I will never those moment of warmth
he imbued in me.
(3) Buying stock: Back in November 2006,
I have started reading about stocks. I read
the Business Times everyday on the way
to work. Basically, I'm excited
abt the business world. I like the whole
idea of turning vision into goal
I bought my first stock in January. Then,
I was quite inexperienced. Though, I know
the mathematics of what i have invested,
i donno the most important thing, when
to buy and when to sell?
Justin introduced me to technical analysis and
since making use of both fundamental and
technical analysis, I feel more equipped.
Have I made any money??? I will let u all
know by the end of this year.
Of the three, tuition is probably the least
complicated of the three. For me, giving
tuition has become v natural for me. Doing
research is not yet second nature to me;
the best analogy about
doing research is that of a person
finding his way in the dark. There are
doubts sometime. Sometimes, you
wonder whether your approach is correct.
Often, the experimental results
are disappointing and one get
frustrated.
Buying stock is a very emotional thing.
Nothing gets more emotional than
that. The thing about buying
stock is simple: YOU HAVE
TO BE CLEAR IN YOUR DIRECTIONS.
In a simplistic way, it feels a
bit like how I used to spot question for exam.
I only study what I spotted, nothing else.
I suppose when you identify a stock, you
have to trust your judgement and buy
it without fear. I believe I will be ready
in the next BULL market
