The dreaded worst gift
This year Christmas Party was postponed
to Dec 31 because a lot of us were not
around.
So the gift exchange was postponed as well.
It is a big question mark on whose gift
will be voted the worst gift.
I was given this unwelcome tag once, still,
I have always do my shopping at the
last minute.
This year, I want to do it earlier, but now
it seems old habits die hard.
I am thinking of doing online shopping but
the shipping will definitely mean I am
overbudget!
As for Christmas gift, I am not v
ambitious, I won't go for the
best gift. As long, as I am
not voted worst gift
I think it is fine.
E-shopping is really a god sent for the lazy.

The first meaningful result I obtained was the
USB Beverage Chiller/Warmer. This is
not novel, but I think it won't be
voted worst gift.
Practical gift is generally safe, but not always.
I remember I was voted worst gift for
giving a pill case + card holder. I
guess never combined two gifts
into one, the perfect recipe
for disaster.

This is pretty cool, but a risky one. If it is
classified as a soft-toy, there is a chance
it might be voted worst gift. But
then, I have seen this kind
of gift being voted best
gift as well.
Last year was pretty good. At the last
minute, I saw a post on Facebook
from one of my friends who seem
to know a lot of friends who
set up e-shop.
The shop was called funky chargers,
http://www.funkychargers.com/.
That was the first time whereby
I didn't really spend much
time shopping for a
gift.
It is like playing soccer and suddenly
the ball arrives at your feet and
you just to gently tap the ball
into the net. Beautiful!!

This year, I really wondering, whether I
got similar luck.
_________________________________________
This December has been too hectic for
my liking. Ideally, I would love
to have 70% gathering &
30% my own time.
Partly because of my poor planning
& unforeseen circumstances, I have
a lot of backlog in my work
commitment.
I really donno how my supposedly
one month break before I started
work become like ermmm ...
NOTHING!
Now it seem like my 70-30 become
50% work, 50% gathering &
my personal time is totally
gobbled up.
At least the good part is that I have
cleared my thesis defense so at
least I do not have to spend
December worrying abt
it.
I guess nothing is perfect. The best
thing is I have lotsa of company
to celebrate December with,
tt is really the best part.
This year my shopping has been pretty awesome.
The bargain has been very good. There are
massive discounts from G2000 & Library
for office wear. I don't particularly
like G2K, but I can't afford to
buy all 2-ply cotton shirt.
River Island also got pretty interesting sales.
This year, their sales are better. At least for
once, they don't put ONLY crappy
items on sales. The discount is
abt 40%.
Then I got a Ducati from Puma. It has quite
a different cut from most casual shoes cuz
it made for horseriding. I was sitting
on the sofa with Kian Leng & really
browsing the shoes from the
sofa. Tt is the best-placed
sofa in a shop!
A day earlier, I was with Alex &
I manage to get the gift for
the exchange within 1 hr.
Pretty fast, haha!! At nite,
it was dinner with JL &
Raymond at a curry
rice shop in Kitchener
Rd.
Raymond is a regular at the shop.
I also like it tremendously. It
is so addictive that I always
thought about it hours
after I finished eating
it, which is pretty
amazing becuz I
can get bored
quite fast.
