Easing into November ...
November arrives with a week that goes like tis
work... holiday...work...holiday...work... weekends
doesn't apply for me though ... cuz I'm
still a part-time tutor
imagine working life is lidat ... it will
be more fun ... won't be so
much of a drag ...
but mabbe
less efficient
there are 4 weeks in Nov n I hope
things happen in Nov ... if
I get a job I will be
glad to accept it ... if there is
progress in my
postgrad/scholarship
application ... it will
ease a lot of the uncertainties
Nov is abt making things happen ...
n saving enuff to enjoy Dec
tt my perception ... might be
diff for other pple ... but Dec
calls for a lot of celebration
Pals CK & KH will b back ... so
we will have a mini celebration
together with other gd pals ...
it has been quite a while since
the 5-6 of us went out
together
I was closer to CK & KH ... but
when they are away ... I have
got to know XS & SW
more
tdy I juz checked my bank
balance ... it's v healthy
... with some saving in
Nov, I can have my
fair share of enjoyment in
Dec
Cousin fam asked whether I got
everything planned up
pple who know me will know that
I am not a real planner ... but
I have a vision of what
I'm trying to do ...
Usually I will do it ... but sometime
I will take ages to do
what I intend
haven party, karaoke, shopping n stuff
for a long time ... tt will happen in
December
but at least i have watched a couple
of movies in recent weeks
it's v strange ... at one stage I
was v keen on korean movies
... tt shd be frm 2001-2003
den in 2004 I inspired some
interest in my frenzs in korean
movies ... somehow my interest
dipped from there
but the whole of 2004 and the first
half of 2005 was a lean period
for my website ...
In Sep ... Yahoo & msn indexed my site ...
n the site traffic has been
improving steadily ever since
my interest has been renewed ...
have written about 8 reviews during
tis 2 mths ... sth I haven't been able
to do for a long while
when I first wrote my first review in 2003,
I was struggling ... I can sit
the whole day n I still
din like what I wrote
now I can finish a review in one
afternoon, or in two
afternoon if it's a long one ...
it's a vast one ... I tink
taking the Lit module during
my last yr in NUS was
realli helpful
the first midterm essay I
got a 'C' ... but I learnt a lot
from tt
it is during writing n web-designing
tt I can use the creative
side of me ...
I have told mum tt after doing
my research work nxt time...
I'm gg to do sth v diff after tt
she was quite skeptical ... but
I'm equally skeptical abt
devoting myself to
doing just one thing ... tt realli

on Sat, I was having lunch
with JC mates, HS & Tz
... time pass v quickly ....
but I don remember we
talk school days
I hav gud feeling abt mtg
them though I realli
can't remember
wat we talked abt ...
but they did said "You got bad memories", which
I totally agreed ... I have a
bad habit of agreeing to
meet up w someone
when I had sth
scheduled ...
I have short term memories I supposed
but mum wasn't impressed with my memories ... n
we had some arguments during mid-week
... it's all settle now ... HAPPY ending =)
On Sunday ... I was watching a
french comedy @ GV cineleisure ... both KL
& me nvr expect it to
b so wonderfully humorous ...
at first, I was trying to
find some meaning from frm the show
den I got into the mood ... n
realli enjoyed myself
we talked for a long while after the
show ... haven't done tt
for a while ... nvr
knew each other v well when
we were in the camp ... it's
realli pure coincidence tt
we ended up being v gud
buddies
Rach asked abt one of the
incident in 'Sympathy For Lady
Vengeance' ... usually my frenzs
will ask me qn after
watching Director Park's movie ...
his movie are well-made
n well-executed
u will have question along the
show ... n realise u have
the answer 20 mins later ...
tt is brilliant editing
I'm always v curious abt his
works ... becuz making movie
is abt creativity n
the ability to 'spring' surprises
n Park is the few directors
tt still amaze me with
every of his works
anyway ... tis is a movie
I recommend ... it has
enuff intellect to keep u interested
... n some comic moments to
make it a less painful watch ...
watch it if u can
Tuesday ... I juz eat & eat it
will mum & relatives ... dinner
@ the cafeteria @ Selectar Base
Country Club was nice ...
but the staff couldn't realli
handle the crowd ... the pork
ribs was real gud though ... I haven
taste sth quite lidat b4
felt a bit much relaxed these few
days... decided to
take a break on thursday
n friday
I was at home the whole day
on thursday ... so
mum cldn't complain I'm
always out
anyway, the break did
wonders for me ...
felt much refresh ... much
readi to do a lot of tings
tt y I can a lot tdy ... on
Thurs I thot I won't have
any inspiration to write ...
so I did some 'personality tests'
so tt I cld at least have
some new posts
some of them were realli true,
so much so that it kinda
shocks me
