Jan - Feb Struggling


At work, Jan - Feb has proven
to be rather frustrating ...
a lot of hiccups ... a lot
of unexpected
problems ...


Overall, I am quite behind
schedule but I have
did my best ... &
things just din
work up


A lot of things that shldn't
go wrong has gone
wrong ... but
den I really
looking forward to
completing my project
and nothing shall
crush my spirit


A lot of frenzs ask me
what I plan to do after
graduation ... I have
been thinking abt it
occasionally but I reckon
my future does not like
in the academic field


As for what career I will
pursue ... I am not absolutely
sure yet ... I have some
idea but it's not absolute ...
for me it's impt tt I don
have to slog my whole life


Some people really love working ...
I don belong to tt group ...
I value other things as more
impt ...

I was thinking "do you believe
in such a love story?"


I like the movie but I don
really find
the love scenario v
romantic


In fact, I think the love story
was really more like
a backdrop rather than
the main theme


Still, I enjoy the movie
because it is sth
I nvr caught it on
the big screen


I was thinking whether
it's because the movie
I watched recently were
all so good tt I hardly
drifted away or
is it becuz my
concentration span has
increased


My concentration span has
always been tt bad ...
I can't sit still
unless there is really
sth entertaining tt
keep me captivated ...


On Thursday, I finally
got to catch "The curious
case of Benjamin Button"


I read the synopsis & I really
like the whole idea of
the movie but
I nvr thought it
was going to be so

heart-wrenching


& gosh the whole movie was 166 mins ...
& 166 mins in a Lido
theatre is not really
an entertaining prospect


I find "Benjamin Button" better than
"Forrest Gump" ... save for
the fact the protagonist actually
lived life in reverse ... the whole
story is more believable ... &
the romance tt develops between
the couple is more real


The most gutting part of the show
is to see the Benjamin slowly deteriorating
& losing his memory of the long
love relationship he had with his wife
& his wife still by his side taking
care of him as a toddler and
as a baby ...


"Benjamin" is a like a melodrama
but not quite ... I think it avoided
some of the emotional excesses associated with
the genre


It was filmed with a lot of care and
depicted with a lot of grace ... love
it tremendously

Feb is a weird month ... the days
just flew away & surprisingly
I have managed to keep a
fine balance between
work & play ...


It hasn't always being like tt ...
undergraduate days were
more of the latter ...
while postgraduate days was
like so tedious until I
was really tire out


My badminton is still not as
good as though people which
I play with ... some of
them are really gud &
they are efficient
with their stroke


My stroke is incomparable
but sometimes I
do spring a few
occasional supply ...
Comparatively, badminton
is easier to pick
up than bladeing


Bladeing was quite hard in the
beginning ... Braking was
especially hard, for a
while, I was thinking
whether I can master
braking perfectly ...


I wanted to pick up tennis,
pal KK also said he was
keen ... but time is
especially tight, so we shall see
