Sodagreen concert was awesome

Few of my frenzs expect me to watch Sodagreen
concert. In fact, I seldom mention Sodagreen.
I was sitting in front of the lab's computer
trying to analyse my results &
listening to the radio program.
Sodagreen was interviewed
by the DJ & then I started
rediscovering my love
for their music.

So it was really a bit by chance tt I
bought the ticket. It's was never
part of the plan. But I like
life to be like that, not
exactly pre-plan.

I'm not the pro-active type, but I think
I'm the type who makes full use of
the opportunity tt arrives at my doorstep.

I was glad I didn't miss the concert. It's strange
but I have attended a couple of concert
in which the performer spoke little
mandarin or english. So this time
was perfect because sodagreen
spoke mandarin & the dialogue
during the concert was
fantastic.

Not only does QingFeng sings well; he
establishes very good rapport with
the crowd. His jokes are sometime
a bit over until it becomes
rather corny. But, it great
stuff, v entertaining.

The live performance is really one
of the best I have witnessed. It's
really studio quality. The
talent tt QingFeng have
is amazing.

So talented yet so humble. I think
tt's wat sodagreen is to me. In
fact, I don't mind that they
only have two sets of costumes
for the whole performance.

With top performance like tt, they
don't need the costumes nor the
dances to cover for the deficiency.
The music was WoW!! I hope
they will be back again soon.

This week Elva Hsiao 'Love Rhapsody'
also makes it to FM 93.3 music chart.
That is the third song from the
album 'Miss Elva' to make it
to the chart. Brilliant performance
when considered that Elva's fans
are probably older & has less tendency
to vote.

'Miss Elva' is an awesome album. If you
like dance pop, it's v solid. V nice
music & when u listens to it on
the earphone, the bass
will rock u if ur earphone
is gud enough.

Elva was criticized for her performance
at Golden Horse 2010. She has to
sing five songs (i think) from
the soundtracks of past

movies. Her reply to the
criticism was solid though :
"Although, the performance might
not be top-notch, the feeling is
nonetheless v authentic"

But it's harsh to comment like that. Firstly,
not every singer can sing songs like
'小情歌' to perfection. QingFeng's
voice is just too unique and he's
too skilled for other to do it
easily. Morever, Elva has to
sing five songs.

A lot of people think singers have it easy.
Having to sing in front of thousands of
pple is not easy. Even someone as
skilled as QingFeng also has
moments of imperfection.

When u listen to QingFeng sings live, u are
amazed by how talented and natural
he is. Tt evening, I really enjoyed
myself.

I am finally onto my last chapter of the
thesis. This five years have not
been easy.

Some people said that the stress doesn't
get into me & my quality of my
life is not tt bad.

I feel my quality of life in my last five
years is lousy but not meaningless.
When you gain experience in lab,
writing, planning and the stock
market plus giving tuition
at the same time, it
is unlikely to
be meaningless.

But in the five years, I never feel
relaxed & composed. I don't
feel in control & I feel like
a servant to work & worry.

I work very hard for my students &
tutoring is a very meaningful job.
It's more fulfiling than investing
because in investing you play
for the future every time.

However, there is always a time to
put a full stop & a time to put
a Capital letter to your life.

Before I start tutoring, I thought I
will be a good tutor. I think I'm
not wrong. The best part of
the job is having the trust
of the students and the parents.
When they are less worried because
you are around, it's quite a good feeling.

Before I start research, I thought I
will struggle. But chronic struggle
is a very painful thing. I have
4 years of undergrad life when
things were perfect & beautiful. I didn't
earn a lot at that time but I was happy.

Still, I never regret, because deep now
I always think research is my first career.
It's part of my career but
not the only part. I hope it
will stay like this.

I hope work on an innovative
project in the near future. I feel
tt will be where I will be
successful & probably
the cream of my career.

So far December has been good. The
first week of December was
cousin's Weina wedding.

It has been ages since I saw some of
my cousins, so the feeling is
pretty good. It's really
nice to meet up after
so long.

The dinner was at Copthorne & the food
were really fantastic. Very delicious
& very good quality. The videos
were also v good. Anyway,
that was my last wedding
dinner for the year.

I am looking at the table calendar
that pal Pingting has made for
our group. There were four
of us in the picture for December.
Very nice picture & a great way
to sign off the year.

I have some very wonderful frenzs, but
I have a very crazy habit of disappearing.
When you never meet someone for quite
a while, there's a lot excitement
joy & things to share when u
finally meet. But, when
u meet up too often, I always feel the
stability & predictability of things
start to eat into the relationship.

Maybe that why I haven't been in
a relationship for a long time. I
don't know what will happen
when the fun stops.
