Another decade begins ...
The first decade was about
growing up, learning how
to walk, write and express
onself. Second decade
was like stepping into
muddy plain, carefree,
fun at time but
always murky.

Third decade for me was
about maturing &
seeing things
take shape ... but life
has never been tt
hectic!


The best thing about the third
decade was knowing some
very good friends, friends
that I can really click with.


the fourth decade, it
will be fun to predict. I
hope I will still keep
my hairs; still
remaining
optimistic &
to be become more
of what I wish to be.

KK & pals organise a birthday
celebration for me on Sep 4.
This yr was different from
last yr ... I was "sabotaged"
even before the bbq begun.


I was always confident tt
they will not caught me
offguard but they
have surprised
me yet again.


First item of the gathering
was the horror movie "Haunted
Changi". I must admit, it garners
the worst rating i have given
for a movie. 0.2/10


It's not horrifying. There is
no plot. The whole movie
was just about the 15 mins
ending. And the ending
is nt fantastic also. Honestly,
the proper genre for the movie
is "Amateur works".


KK & me were hoping to
scare some of our friends. But there
was nothing fearful in the movie.


The bbq was very good. The kitchen
staff was:
Maggie - Supervisor
KK - Fire specialist
Yvonne - Trainee
HL - Senior BBQ Specialist (SBS)
Me - Butter & Margarine Worker (BMW)


The fire was too strong in the beginning. My

drenched clothes were dried soon after.


The SBS did a great job; loads of experience haha.
Then I started to be creative, & put beer on
the wings ... tried it, it's good!!


There were a lot of "wrestling" soon after
led by chief wrestler, Eric. I guessed
he enjoyed throwing pple into
water. At least I got my
revenge. with the
help of KK.


Part 3 was alcohol game. Blowing
card is my weakness but lucky
charm was simply on my side!


Birthday cake was from Pine Garden.
V nice. Thk u organiser!!!

finally was back at East Coast for BLADEING.
The weather was good for the first 2 hrs.
It has been almost a year since I last
went.


ECP is about the same except for
the new skate park. The skate
park is v gud but more
for stunners. I would nvr
dream of trying anything
there. There were a number
of young caucasian kids, they
look so natural with their skates
& bikes.


I realise I really miss skating a lot.
The difference between cycling & skating is
like the difference between driving
& motorcycling on the
road.


The former is relatively more passive
but safer. But the later, it's
mabbe for fun.


And the difference between skating
& doing lab work is like
light years away.


Lab work is like a lot of things
we do in life, just for the future.
Sometimes, the future never
really arrives. I have vowed

to live more for the present!
