time flies ... tis is the 131th post ...
I remember tt I wrote my
first article in May
when I was in Sweden
tt was in 2004 ... so much
has changed ... but oni
one year has passed
2004 is hectic but fun (in
patches)
2005 is tough in the first
half but relaxing
in the second period
it's the end of resume sending
... my resume is
a hybrid of 2 templates,
one frm Audrey
n my cover letter is written
using a software ... gosh
the software is really
gud
but I won't say it's cheap
& gud ... value for $$$
is a beta way to put
it
those who wan to borrow the software
... juz text me ...
i will b happy to "rent" it to u
got a job offer on Tuesday ...
Mr Postman arrives
at my doorstep with
a registered article ...
IT WAS THE CONTRACT
OFFER
the salary and the contract's terms
are fair
basically the contract is in order ...
so I felt bad abt
rejecting the deal ... becuz
both the directors were
v sincere to me
during the interview
they wanted to give me the
job. The contract was
dated a day after
the interview
I was telling yihao a day
before the interview that
I'm rather fearful
attending the interview
before the two directors
it was a long 1.5 hr interviews ...
the next day... another of my interviewer
asked me whether I would
like to take his
scholarship n do
postgraduate
I chose the later n felt rather
bad about rejecting
the kind director's offer
She is the few interviewer
who is both friendly and
candid with me,
n I appreciate it ...
but I felt that it
is not proper for me
to quit after a few
mths
tis week everything shld be
clearer including my
Sweden application
anyway I have been enjoying
life, waking up at
9am in the morning ...
now, waking up @ 6:30 am
is a weird concept
to me
last Sat, I was @ JB w Jayce & pals
... doing things
tt most pple will do
when they go into JB
except tt we din go
for karaoke ...
there wasn't so much of a jam,
so we were pretty
much surprised by
the smooth traffic ...
Lunch was gud but I like dinner
the bez ... u cld get there
by cab but there's no way
of flagging a cab
at tt plc ... the seafood
was fabulous (kinda
reminds me of
the seafood @ sarawak which
is cheap & gud)
we chill up at tis plc
... tink it is called the 'Tree-house' ...
I have never see anything lidat ...
the satay is v gud ... n the
atmosphere is unique ...
reminiscence of the kampong-like
lifestyle
anyway this week is like feast after
feast ... the good thing is
that I didn't have to
pay a single cent ... November
treats me well
on Wed ... I met up with proj mate,
Koh Siang... talk abt the
gud old days ... tt
was the most FUN project
gp I ever had in NUS ...
we cld celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival,
have steamboat together in campus
and meet at least half a year ...
when KF & me leave for
our exchange ... we still
meet when we
returns
a generous and fun group of friends ...
with them I could truly connect
I can't wait for December to come
n meeting with the rest
of my proj mates
Uncle has told me to take up
driving with the time
I have now ... den he
says tt he will
sponsor my course fee
haha... I'm waitng for
someone to just say that
met Leonard on my way to
IKEA... Jayce told
me the foto frame
@ IKEA was gud ... so I juz went
there juz to get
a frame... but I ended
up spending $8.50 buying
some finishing for the $3 frame
anyway, I luv woodwork a lot ...
my uncle is a contractor n I use
to spend some of my school
holidays helping up at his company
... the bez part of the job is
the perspiration and the
satisfaction
the beta part of my weekend was spent
eating ... the BEZ dish
was the scallops
y are so scallops so delicious especially
when they feed on crap? Crabs are
gud as well, but they too feed on crap...
n i tink lala feed on crap as well
December will be cool, parties, gift-shopping,
food, karaokes n my pals
will be back ... Enjoy December!!!
