Off to a bad start

there hadn't been any trace of the
sun since the start of the year

n the rain din help my flu ...
I have been sneezing
for the past few days

talking abt resolution ... I had made
a promise to be illness-free in 2006

guessed this one doesn't count ...

I refused to see a doc on Sunday ...
becuz the doc has been disappointing ...
if I went, it will be the third time
within a space of one
mth

the first two times, I thot
I will get beta ...
but the med
din deliver

I rather not see a doc again

on the second day of New Year ...
my phone was down @ the
Nokia care centre
for repair ...

the on-off switch was spoilt after
6 mths !!!

n the staff told me
they are waiting for the parts
to be shipped to Singapore

wat a shamble ... it's
realli inconvenient with
a mobile

except for tuition, I haven't
been out ... it's
hard to arrange
anything without
my mobile ... so I reckon
I will juz nurse myself
at home

the last week of December was
fun stuff ... 2005 ended well

Boxing day I was @ JB with Eugene,
Wanying & Mingzi ... it
has been a long, long while since
I met WY & MZ ... the most
rewarding part of the trip
was buying a suitable
6R foto frame for
the pic I took with Tony Adams!!!

my advise is nvr developed a 6R foto ...
it's hard to find a suitable frame ...
the bez photo frame I had
seen was in Venice ...
but can u imagine
buying a frame for $46 SGD ???
I DOUBT u will buy it

27 Dec was a gathering for
some of my JC frenzs ...
KH was bad from UK with
his galfrenz ... so we
went to Newton
for hawker fare ...
the clayfish were
too ex ... but it was
nice juz chatting over dinner ...
I no longer care
too much abt the food ...
it's the company tt counts !!!

my love for food has took a dive
... when I was
in my pri/sec sch days ...
I used to salivate over food
... n get excited over
gud stuff ... a few
of my favourites are
(Roasted suckling pig, turtle
soup, braised duck wings,
claypot rice, pandan
chicken)

somehow my love for
food has evaporated over this
few years ...
I no longer get excited
abt food

the only exception was during
my hongkong trip when
I woke up
thinking abt dimsum ...
Chicken feet was my
favourite dish, haha =) &
steven refuses to eat it. I said
he has missed one of the
bez food ard

other than tt ... I don
remember getting excited
over food in 2005

but I know I still like
fast food, seafood &
chocolate & I'm not
fated to enjoy
fast food & chocolate
in my life

December I was eating a lot
of fast food & chocolate ...
I muz admit my
last chocolate dessert
@ NYDC was the
final straw ...
what followed was
inflamed throat, dry cough
n flu ... wat next ???

thursday I was @ the premiere of
'A very tall story' ... it's
one of the funniest movie
I had seen in a while ...
if I have the $$$ i might buy
the dvd when it's out

pal Jayce invited me to his
hse for new year eve ...
he asked me to cook
a dish ... I don wan
to be a spoilsport
so I agreed

luckily ... it was juz a
harmless lie ... I
cannot imagine how
my veggie will turn up
... it might be too starchy,
salty or mabbe juz nice

during the wee hours
of New Year Day
we had prata
at Jalan Kayu ...
me, JJ, Vivian & DL
were sitting at one table
... & all the four of
us had illness
of some kind !!! haha...
I boasted tt I'm in
a beta shape den
them ... now I tink
i'm the worst

but it's OK ... i will recover soon

I finalli booked my driving
lessons... class will
start in February

February will be
a hectic month ...

I hope to get my driving license
this year!!!
