2006 is still not heavenly for me

It has been a while since I wrote here ....
There aren't a lot of tings
to do, but I just doesn't
seem to have enuff
time

21 days of January n my
fone has only been
with me for five days ...
it has been @ the workshop
for day & day

the fone was gud until
my frenz asked me about
the phone, I said "
except for a few hiccups, it's
a great fone"

ever since, my fone
has spent more
time in the treatment
room den "running
an errands for me"

it was raining on Hari Hara
Haji & with a bad bout
of flu, I din manage

to take pics of the
sunrise with Junwei

the sun din came out until
the 12th day of the month ...
it was like a day worth
celebrating

Some hit the beach ... I din remember
wat I did ... but I was
outdoor n I could feel
the warmth of the sunrays,
the lightness in the air ...

with the bad weather, I juz
stayed at home recovering
from my flu ... I juz closed
all the windows & I din realli
bathe ... juz to
protect myself frm
the chill

It's a crazy way to cure
oneself ... but it
works ...

Much better den the
anti-histamine I had
taken

staying at home for 2
full weeks leave me
with plenty of stuff to
do

I have been preparing
tuition materials during the past 2
weeks ... it's a lot of
work ... but it's a
commitement

I donno how long I will still
be teaching tuition ...
but I will leave
my students in gud
shape if I do leave

I always have a soft boss
for my tuition's boss,
normally I won't change
my decision, but my
boss has the
ability to make
me change my decision,
to continue teaching the
class

I'm indebted to him ...
becuz he has alwae
been v nice to me...
when I needed more
cash ... he will
arrange tuition classes
for me ... so
I always find it
hard to say NO ...
but with an
impending job, driving
lessons & other
tuition assignments ... I will
have to trim my classes

tis week is New Year week ... so
I don have much stuff
to prepare for
tuition ... so I got
much time to shop,
watch movies, arrange
gathering, do some
sports & plan
my year

I watched "Crying out
love in the centre of the world" a few
days ago. Before, I was
curious about the long title &
the fanfare the movie
generates. The drama
serial, based on the
same journal, was less
successful

I'm not usually a fan of
"melodrama", but
"Crying out ..." is
special in its own way. It has
a poetic touch and it
celebrates the beauty
& everlasting quality
of first love. I recommend
watching "Crying out ..." on DVDs ...
& with a real gud
sound system

I have the VCDs of 'Tale of 2
sisters' & 'Red Shoes' on my table ...
but juz din had the time
to watch it ... anyway I luv
horror movies ... but it's
v difficult to come
across a very unique one...
somehow writers are still
stucked with the idea that
horror movie must have
a moral story behind it ...
tt y this genre hasn't
make quite a
quantum leap ...

My recommendation is "Dark Water" ...
"Dark Water" is an one-off... I doubt
there will be horror
movie as creative as
this one in the near future ... I might
be wrong though

I did a veri cheapo ting on 15 Jan 2006 ...
went in Popular & read all the 250
past year Basic Theory questions ...
the book costs $6

I set for the Basic Theory the nxt day ...
I couldn't afford to fail becuz
my driving lessons were
all booked ... & I passed!!!

On Tuesday I painted my
room pink, I'm oki
with pink so when
my cousin suggested it, I juz
nodded my head

It was like years & years
since I last painted ...
the last thing I could remember
was working in
my uncle's renovation company
many, many years ago ...
tt was hell of an experience ...
the sheer
satisfaction of seeing the
finished product
is more fufilling than
scoring 100 marks for an exam

met up with SEP (Student Exchange
Program) mates @ Marche on Wed ...
it was a long, long while since
we were last @ Sweden,
but the memories are still
as rich ... & our penchant
for travelling hasn't quite faded

we were talking abt an East-europe
trip, with Pat being
the most enthusiastic ... den
we talked abt other continents &
countries like Argentina, Venezuela
started cmg in ...

'U realli have to seriously consider
abt gg S. America for ur
honeymoon ... there's plenty of
'distractions' there, u noe' - Pat

gg to the karaoke during the CNY
is realli $$$ ... KBox costs
ard $35/pax & Party World Costs
$25/pax ... heard that
there is a place called KGarden which
is realli cheap, but I have
nvr been there b4.

After a bout of sore throat, I hope
my voice back ...

Sunday is supposed to be sunny ... &
the sun shines & sparkles in
the afternoon... a PERFECT
time to savour & enjoy
its warmth ... I was @ Botanic
Garden with Junwei

On tt afternoon, I could feel
my enthusiasm for photography is
back again ... Junwei is
serious abt his hobbies ..& his
enthusiasm has spreaded
onto me

his tripod stand weighs 4kg, but
he carries it around n
walk unimaginable distance with
it, as though the stand was
part of him

taking 'macro' (close-up) shots with
tripod stand is a luxury !!!

we came across another
photographer & his tripod
was realli light but it costs
$800 ... $800 for a
tripod is a MASSIVE
investment

but my major acquisition are
(1) A tripod stand
(2) A wide-angle len
(3) A telephoto len
this will complete my
camera ... but it will
burn a real
big hole in my pocket

I want to take pictures of flower
and water droplets... & I hope
my pics can reveal
the beauty, joy &
miracle of living

Sunday was tiring but
fruitful & juz PERFECT

for me !!!
