New Year over so Valentine Day Arrives


I bought my bluetooth headset last
week ... & has been toying
with it ever since

I'm juz tired of the
earphone Nokia has provided me
... it's darn unreliable

Talking about Nokia, my
phone will be at the
care centre tomorrow, this is the
third time since January

I bought Nokia to give
me more convenience

I have maximising my warranty
ever since =(

the bluetooth headset is
cool for listening to mp3
... as for receiving
phone call, it's really not
up to the mark

anyway I thought I will
be the last person to buy
the headset ... this is testimonial
of the statement
"when circumstances
changes, people change"

MH was back for the Chinese New Year ...
so we finally met
up with him on Thursday evening

he said "everything time I'm back
in town, I will taste
Thai Express once"

we chatted a lot, though a couple
of our classmates were missing
... it has been
increasingly hard
to organise gathering & Minghan
even suggested tt he
wanted to plan a weekend
gateway next time ... he
targeted eight pple ... we said "
Good Luck, pal"


maybe it's the spicy food or the
good weather or the good
food ... my apetite
has been especially gud
since last Thursday

Uncle was back from Taiwan
on Sunday ... & he bought
more cuttlefish
back home

I have been munching cuttlefish
during CNY ... &
I nvr got tired of it

Taiwan's cuttlefish are much
cheaper & nicer
den the one I bought in
Singapore

uncle used to sell
cuttlefish for a living
during his early teen

but my mum & uncles
don't have as
much interest
for cuttlefish
as me

Saturday was the last
painian for 2006 ...
it's a strange painian
... we din used the
bus for house-hopping

we used the cab instead &
we spent about 2 hours per home

my house was photos-browsing
+ variety show ...
den we went to SY's house &
played with his
dog, Shandy & his small
brother ... last stop
was CH's house...

we had a hearty dinner at Cafe Cartel ...
the last time I was there with
ZZ & CH ... I was oso v
full... tis time I was even more full ...
the ribs were juz too big
for me ...

overall, this is an enjoyable
New Year for me ... now it's
time to start to work
hard & save $$$


finally the sun started to shine
again on Monday ... I haven't
swim for the past 2 weeks

swimming in the teaching
pool is a diff
experience ... I was
enjoying myself
tt I almost got burnt

later in the afternoon, I met with
KL & we watched 'Walk
the line', the movie
which swept all the major
awards @ the
Golden Globe

'Walk the line' is a movie
as gud as all the awards
it has won ... I saw
the trailer a month back &
was impressed enuff ...
but watching the movie
confirmed my guess ...
'Walk the line' is smashing stuff

'Walk the line' will be a great
Valentine Day movie

'Any plans for Valentine
Day?'


I had been asked a couple of times
during the last week ...
even mom popped the question

well, I have nothing planned ...
tt y I'm here typing
up my blog ...

even though I'm not celebrating
it, I still think
Valentine is a special day
